Mayor Khairuzzaman Liton inaugurates construction work of Rajshahi flyover

In order freeing the metropolis from traffic congestion, Rajshahi City Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton has inaugurated the construction work of one of the flyover in the city.

Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) is going to construct five more flyovers aimed at making the public life more vibrant.

To this end, the RCC has embarked upon a Taka 821.93 crore project for construction of the flyovers for overall development of the city.

This is another milestone in the development of the city, says Liton while inaugurating the construction works of another flyover over Charkhuta intersection on Thursday.

The 775-meter wide flyovers 18 spans will be constructed with an estimated cost of around Tk76.28 crore within December 31, 2025.

The new five flyovers will be constructed on Haragram Natunpara Railway Crossing, Rajshahi Court Station Railway Crossing, Bilsimla Railway Crossing, Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Railway Crossing, Bhadra Railway Crossing and Mohanpur Railway Crossing.

Liton said the Rajshahi city will get a new look upon successful implementation of the mega project.
