Measles toll crosses 650

In the last 24 hours, 136 new confirmed cases of measles have been identified across the country. At the same time, 1,06 suspected measles patients have been identified across the country and one person has died.

The latest information on the measles situation was given through a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (June 16).

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, the total number of suspected measles deaths in the country from March 15 to Tuesday has reached 564 and the number of confirmed measles deaths is 93. The total number of deaths has exceeded 650.

In the last 24 hours (from 8am on Monday to 8am on Tuesday), the number of suspected measles patients was 1,06 and the number of confirmed patients in laboratory tests was 136.

Since March 15 this year, a total of 72,405 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals. Of these, 68,782 have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
