Model Meghna Alam has joined the Gono Odhikar Parishad. She filled the primary membership of the party on Sunday. Abu Hanif, member of the higher council and media coordinator of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, confirmed the matter. He said that Meghna Alam has collected nomination papers from Dhaka-8 constituency. She will contest from this seat. Earlier, former Miss Earth Bangladesh and the discussed model Meghna Alam announced her participation in the upcoming national elections.

গণ অধিকার পরিষদে যোগ দিয়েছেন মডেল মেঘনা আলম। আজ রবিবার দলের প্রাথমিক সদস্য পদ পূরণ করেন তিনি। বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন গণ অধিকার পরিষদের উচ্চতর পরিষদের সদস্য ও গণমাধ্যম সমন্বয়ক আবু হানিফ। তিনি বলেন, মেঘনা আলম ঢাকা-৮ আসন থেকে মনোনয়নপত্র সংগ্রহ করেছেন। এই আসন থেকে তিনি নির্বাচন করবেন। এর আগে সাবেক মিস আর্থ বাংলাদেশ ও আলোচিত মেঘনা আলম আসন্ন জাতীয় নির্বাচনে অংশ নেওয়া ঘোষণা দেন।
