Meta is set to make payment easier for entrepreneurs running Facebook ads in Bangladesh. The company is currently testing the integration of bKash, a local mobile financial service, as a payment option on its advertising platform.

Recently, screenshots shared by several users showed bKash appearing alongside traditional bank cards in Meta's Ads Manager. Some users have reportedly been able to pay their ad bills through bKash.

Until now, entrepreneurs in Bangladesh had to rely on international cards, dual-currency facilities or various banking processes to pay for Facebook ads. This often created complications, particularly for small and new businesses.

The addition of bKash could make it easier for local entrepreneurs to advertise on Facebook. Having a local payment alternative to international cards is expected to reduce both time and hassle in paying for ads.

However, Meta has not yet made any official announcement regarding this matter. It is not yet confirmed when the feature will be rolled out to all users in Bangladesh. If the test is successful, the use of bKash for Facebook ad payments in Bangladesh may expand in the future.
