Meta removes another page of Elias

Meta has removed another Facebook page of US-based Bangladeshi blogger and online activist Elias Hossain on charges of inciting violence.

Earlier, on Friday night, Facebook authorities removed a verified page of Elias with about 2.2 million followers.

Meta has removed both of Elias' pages in a day. Even after searching for the pages, those are no longer available.

The verified page named Elias Hossain with more than 2 million followers was removed yesterday. After that, Elias started using another Facebook page with more than 800,000 followers, which was also removed today.

On the night of December 18, a group of miscreants attacked the offices of Daily Prothom Alo and Daily Star newspapers and burned down two buildings. During the attack, Elias Hossain's two Facebook pages continuously posted calls for the attack to be successful.
