Milestone Tragedy: Burn victim Arian released after 122 days

Another injured in the Uttara Milestone School and College plane crash, has been discharged from the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute after 122 days of treatment.

Prof. Dr. Nasir Uddin, acting director of the institute, confirmed in a press briefing on Thursday (November 20) that burn victim Arian Afif has been discharged.

Dr. Nasir said, "Arian underwent 34 surgeries, with nearly 40% of his body burned. He spent eight stints in the ICU, including three days on life support."

Doctors, nurses, and support staff worked around the clock to ensure his recovery, and follow-up care and necessary treatment will continue at the institute, he added.
