Ministry for formation of Faridpur, Cumilla as divisions

Faridpur and Cumilla have been recommended to be made administrative divisions in the country, said Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Member Secretary of the Public Administration Reform Commission.

He said this during a discussion with journalists working in the Secretariat Bit at the conference room of the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (December 17).

Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, head of the Public Administration Reform Commission, and members of the commission were present at the time.

The Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration said, "We have recommended Faridpur and Comilla to be made as divisions after looking at the map of the whole country. If the government thinks so, the inclusion will make 10 divisions."
