Mirza Abbas is recovering
The physical condition of Mirza Abbas, a member of the BNP standing committee and political adviser to the Prime Minister, who is undergoing treatment at the Singapore General Hospital, is improving.
His Assistant Private Secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohel has given this information.
Sohel said, 'Sir's treatment is going on in the cabin. His condition has improved compared to before. Therapy is also being given daily. He is under the full supervision of doctors.'
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and his wife Rahat Ara Begum went to the hospital to see Mirza Abbas on Thursday afternoon and spent some time together.
Mirza Fakhrul and BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan are currently in Singapore for treatment. A few days ago, Nazrul Islam Khan also went to the hospital to see Mirza Abbas.
Mirza Abbas was admitted to Evercare Hospital after he suddenly lost consciousness at his Shahjahanpur home during Iftar on March 11 during the month of Ramadan. A medical board consisting of renowned neurologists of the country was formed and on the board's decision, he underwent urgent brain surgery. Then, on March 15, he was transferred from Bashundhara Hospital to Singapore General Hospital by air ambulance.
