Mirza Fakhrul pay condolence visit to pilot Towkir's family

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir led a delegation to the residence of Flight Lieutenant Towkir Islam Sagar, who died in a Bangladesh Air Force training plane crash, to express condolences to his bereaved family.

The delegation visited the family residence at Dhaka Cantonment on Friday afternoon. Present at the meeting were Toukir’s father Mohammad Tahurul Islam, mother Mosammat Saleha Khatun, wife Aksha Ahmed Nijhum, and other family members.

Accompanying Mirza Fakhrul were BNP Vice Chairman and former Air Force Chief Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Major General (Retd.) Fazle Elahi Akbar, and Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. A K M Shamsul Islam.

During the visit, Mirza Fakhrul conveyed heartfelt sympathies from BNP’s acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to the mourning family.
