Mirza Fakhrul visits Nurul Haque Nur at DMCH

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alomgir visited Nurul Haque Nur, President of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, who is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after being injured in an attack in the Ramna area of the capital.

Mirza Fakhrul visited the hospital on Tuesday (2 September) around 12:15 pm and inquired about Nur’s health and ongoing treatment.

On August 29, a clash broke out between leaders and activists of the Jatiya Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad in the Bijoynagar area of Ramna, Dhaka. Several leaders and activists, including Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur and General Secretary Rashed Khan, were injured. Nur was later rescued in a critical condition and admitted to the ICU of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. On Monday afternoon, as his condition improved, he was transferred to a cabin.
