Mobile court seals clinic in Rajshahi’s Godagari over irregularities

A mobile court has sealed and shut down a private clinic in Godagari upazila of Rajshahi after finding irregularities during an inspection based on specific complaints.

The action was carried out on Wednesday (August 12) at Seba Clinic and Digital Diagnostic Centre, located near the Kakanhat Police Outpost, under instructions from the Ministry of Health and an initiative by the Rajshahi district administration.

Senior Assistant Commissioner Abhijit Sarker led the mobile court operation. Deputy Civil Surgeon of Rajshahi, representatives of the local upazila health complex and other relevant officials were also present.

Officials inspected the clinic’s overall operations and examined its documents following the complaints. After finding evidence of irregularities, the mobile court ordered the facility to be closed and sealed its main entrance in the presence of officials.

The authorities said such operations would continue to ensure safe healthcare services for the public and prevent clinics from operating illegally or in violation of regulations.
