The official Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has been hacked, a senior official of the ministry confirmed this information to the media. He said they came to know about this on Saturday morning and the hackers took control over the verified page fully in the afternoon, reports UNB. “Efforts are underway to get back control on our page. We remain optimistic,” said the official wishing to remain unnamed.

পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের অফিসিয়াল ফেসবুক পেজ হ্যাক করা হয়েছে। সংবাদমাধ্যমকে এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেন মন্ত্রণালয়ের একজন সিনিয়র কর্মকর্তা। ওই কর্মকর্তা আরও বলেন, শনিবার (৩ এপ্রিল) সকালে এই বিষয়টি তারা জানতে পারেন এবং বিকেলে হ্যাকাররা ভেরিফায়েড ফেসবুক পেজের পূর্ণ নিয়ন্ত্রণ নিয়ে নেয়। তিনি আরও বলেন, ‘পেজের নিয়ন্ত্রণ ফিরিয়ে আনার জন্য চেষ্টা চলছে। আমরা আশাবাদী যে, এটি ফিরে পাবো।’
