More than 150,000 new voters added in Bogura
The number of voters in Bogura district has increased by more than 150,000 compared to the voter list used in the 12th national parliamentary election.
According to the latest updated list, 153,638 new voters have been added, bringing the total number of voters in the district to 2,981,982. During the previous election, Bogura had 2,828,344 voters.
Sources at the office of the deputy commissioner and district returning officer said voters will cast ballots at 1,013 polling centres across seven parliamentary constituencies in Bogura.
Bogura-1 Sariakandi–Sonatala has 376,619 voters, including 183,889 men, 189,258 women and five third-gender voters.
Bogura-2 Shibganj has 342,160 voters, including 171,497 men, 170,663 women and five third-gender voters.
Bogura-3 Adamdighi–Dupchanchia has 339,176 voters, including 169,347 men, 169,181 women and three third-gender voters.
Bogura-4 Nandigram–Kahaloo has 359,531 voters, including 178,985 men, 180,530 women and eight third-gender voters.
Bogura-5 Sherpur–Dhunat has 572,346 voters, including 281,287 men, 291,047 women and six third-gender voters.
Bogura-6 Sadar has 454,053 voters, including 222,796 men, 230,374 women and 10 third-gender voters.
Bogura-7 Shajahanpur–Gabtali has 538,977 voters, including 270,070 men, 268,17 women and five third-gender voters.
