Mostafa Mahmud appointed as new Chairman of CAAB

Air Vice Marshal Md. Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq has been appointed as the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB). He will succeed Air Vice Marshal Md. Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan.

This appointment was announced in a circular issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday, July 2.

The circular stated that Air Vice Marshal Md. Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq has been assigned to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism for his appointment as CAAB Chairman.

Earlier, on Thursday, June 26, another circular signed by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Abul Hayat Md. Rafiq, announced the withdrawal of Md. Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan from the position. However, the reason for his withdrawal was not mentioned in the notification.
