Nahid, Sarjis take rickshaw ride in Sylhet after Iftar event

National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener and MP Nahid Islam and the party's northern region chief organiser Sarjis Alam took a rickshaw ride through Sylhet city after attending an Iftar Mahfil.

The information was confirmed through photos shared on Sarjis Alam's personal Facebook account around 3:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4.

Sarjis posted a selfie with Nahid Islam on a rickshaw at the historic Kean Bridge area along the banks of the Surma River in the city.

Last night, on Tuesday, March 3, Nahid Islam had informed through his personal Facebook account about attending Iftar and Tarabi prayers in Sylhet.

Nahid Islam wrote, "Today I will have Iftar with dear brothers and sisters in Sylhet. After that, I will perform Tarabi prayers for the 15th of Ramadan at the Hazrat Shahjalal (R) Dargah Central Jame Mosque, Insha'Allah."

NCP Chief Coordinator Nasir Uddin Patowary also informed on Facebook that he would attend the Iftar and perform Tarabi prayers at the Sylhet Hazrat Shahjalal (R) Mazar Mosque at night.

However, Nasir Uddin Patowary was not seen in the photo shared by Sarjis.

NCP Sylhet District Convener Md Juned Ahmed said they have organised a party Iftar Mahfil at a community centre in the Kazitula area of the city.
