Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed his warmest greetings to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through a letter on the occasion of the holy festival of Eid-Al-Adha. In his letter, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the festival highlights the values of sacrifice, compassion, and brotherhood, which are crucial for fostering a peaceful and inclusive world. He also described Eid-Al-Adha as an integral part of multicultural heritage. Prime Minister Modi wished Prime Minister Hasina continued good health and wellbeing. Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit New Delhi after the Eid vacation, marking her first bilateral visit to India since her reelection following the national polls on January 7.

প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহার উষ্ণ শুভেচ্ছা জা‌নি‌য়ে‌ছেন ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। রোববার (১৬ জুন) এক বার্তায় ঢাকায় ভারতীয় হাইক‌মিশন প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে চিঠি পাঠিয়ে মোদির শু‌ভেচ্ছা জানা‌নোর তথ‌্য জানায়। হাইক‌মিশন জানায়, ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহা উপলক্ষে উষ্ণ শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়ে বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে একটি চিঠি পাঠিয়েছেন। চিঠিতে ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদি উল্লেখ করেছেন, ‘এই উৎসবটি আমাদের ত্যাগ, সহানুভূতি ও ভ্রাতৃত্বের মূল্যবোধের কথা স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়। যা একটি শান্তিপূর্ণ ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক বিশ্ব গড়তে অপরিহার্য। তিনি ঈদুল আজহাকে বহু-সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হিসেবেও বর্ণনা করেছেন।’ ‌চি‌ঠি‌তে ভার‌তের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার সুস্বাস্থ্য ও মঙ্গল কামনা করেছেন।
