National Consensus Commission meets CA

Members of the National Consensus Commission met with the Chief Adviser to the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, on Monday, April 28, to review the ongoing discussions and progress with political parties.

The meeting took place at the State Guest House Jamuna, according to a press release by CA's press wing.

Chaired by Professor Yunus, who also heads the Consensus Commission, the meeting focused on the reform process. During the discussions, Vice President of the Commission, Professor Ali Riaz, briefed the Chief Adviser on the talks held with various political parties.

Commission members Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Emdadul Haque, and Safar Raj Hossain were also present at the meeting.

Following the discussions, the Chief Adviser provided guidance on the next steps for the commission.

Legal Adviser Asif Nazrul, Industries and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Monir Haider also attended the meeting.
