The 53rd National Cooperative Day is being celebrated on Saturday (November 2) with the theme of 'Building country in cooperation, Bangladesh without discrimination'. The day is celebrated across the country on the first Saturday of November every year. National Cooperative Day is a national day declared by the Government of Bangladesh. The day is observed to make people aware about cooperatives and to bring momentum to the cooperative movement.

‘সমবায়ে গড়ব দেশ, বৈষম্যহীন বাংলাদেশ’ এই প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে আজ শনিবার (২ নভেম্বর) পালিত হচ্ছে ৫৩তম জাতীয় সমবায় দিবস। প্রতিবছর নভেম্বর মাসের প্রথম শনিবার সারা দেশে দিবসটি উদযাপন করা হয়। জাতীয় সমবায় দিবস বাংলাদেশ সরকার ঘোষিত একটি জাতীয় দিবস। সমবায় সম্পর্কে জনগণকে সচেতন করা এবং সমবায় আন্দোলনে গতিশীলতা আনতে দিনটি পালন করা হয়।
