National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman reaches Delhi a day earlier of schedule
Bangladesh's National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman left for Delhi a day early of than scheduled to attend the seventh conference of National Security Advisers of the Colombo Security Conclave.
He was supposed to arrive in New Delhi on Wednesday (November 19), but he abandoned that plan and landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi after 6:30 pm on Tuesday (November 18).
This conference of National Security Advisers will be held at Hyderabad House in Delhi on Thursday (November 20).
The main conference among the security advisers of the alliance will begin that morning. The conference is scheduled to end after lunch. National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman is scheduled to leave Delhi for Dhaka that afternoon.
Diplomatic observers believe that Khalilur Rahman's visit to India carries special importance in the security and political discussions between the two countries.
