NCP cannot be bought with seats-sharing: Hasnat Abdullah

National Citizens Party (NCP) southern region chief Hasnat Abdullah has said the party cannot be bought with seat-sharing agreements, warning against manipulated elections.

He made the remark at a discussion on the implementation of the July Charter on Saturday (August 16).

Hasnat stressed that voters will act as players while the administration should act as umpire. He also accused the media of attempting to tarnish the reputation of frontline leaders, adding that such efforts will not succeed.

Abdullah further challenged critics, saying, “If any businessman or politician can prove even one taka of corruption by me or my leaders, I will resign from politics.”
