NCP Chapainawabganj district convener among 4 leaders resign
Four leaders of the National Citizen Party (NCP), including the district unit convener have resigned from the party in Chapainawabganj.
They sent their resignation letters to the party's central convener Nahid Islam on Thursday (March 26). Later, a copy of the resignation letter was given to journalists at the Chapainawabganj Press Club.
The resignees include district convener Alaul Haque, senior joint member secretary Nazmul Huda Khan, joint convener Sheikh Oliul Islam and joint member secretary Syed Kibria.
In their resignation letters, they cited personal and family problems and expressed their inability to fulfill their party responsibilities.
Alaul Haque said that he resigned because he was unable to fulfill his duties properly due to family and personal reasons.
On the other hand, Nazmul Huda Khan said that although they joined the NCP with the expectation of change, they did not make progress according to that goal later, so they decided to resign.
Earlier, on June 5 last year, the NCP's Chapainawabganj District Committee was formed with Alaul Haque as the chief coordinator. Later, the District Convener Committee was reconstituted with him as the convener.
