NCP forms election management committee led by Nasiruddin-Zara

The National Citizens’ Party (NCP) has begun preparations for the 13th National Election in 2026 by forming a Central Election Management Committee.

On November 4, the party’s Convener Md Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain approved the committee, according to a press release.

Nasiruddin Patwary has been appointed as Chairman, while Dr Tasnim Zara will serve as General Secretary.

The press release stated that the committee will oversee the NCP’s overall election preparedness, including candidate selection, field coordination, legal and administrative affairs, media and campaign strategy, training, and monitoring.

It added that the committee, under the leadership of Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwary, will supervise all strategic and organisational aspects of the party’s election campaign.

Committee members include Ariful Islam Adib, Mahbub Alam Mahir, Khaled Saifullah, Ehtesham Haque, Advocate Abdullah Al Amin, Alauddin Mohammad, Advocate Zahirul Islam Musa, Advocate Humayra Noor, Saifullah Haider, and Advocate Md Tariqul Islam.
