NCP leader Sarwar Tushar served show-cause notice
Sarwar Tushar, Joint Convenor of the National Citizens Party (NCP), has been issued a show-cause notice following allegations of moral misconduct against him.
The notice was announced on Tuesday (17 June) in a statement signed by Saleh Uddin Sifat, Joint Member Secretary (Office) of the NCP.
The statement notes that Tushar has been asked to provide a clear explanation regarding the allegations. Convenor Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain have requested his response on the matter.
“Tushar is instructed to submit a written explanation within five days to the Political Council and the investigation committee, detailing why disciplinary action should not be taken against him,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, until the investigation is complete, Tushar has been directed to refrain from all party organizational activities, as per the joint instructions of the Convenor and Member Secretary.
