NCP leader Tuhin claims terrorists target party leaders' cars with bullets, bombs
The National Citizen Party (NCP ) Joint Chief Coordinator Arifur Rahman Tuhin has alleged that terrorists attacked the cars of party leaders Nahid Islam, Hasnat Abdullah, and Sarjis Alam with bullets and bombs on Wednesday (July 16).
In a Facebook post, Tuhin revealed that he was in Nahid Islam's car when the bombings occurred. He described the scene as chaotic, with gunpowder and petrol scattered across the road and trees damaged by explosions.
"Each bomb exploded with a loud noise," Tuhin wrote, adding that four NCP members were seriously injured in the attack and one person went missing.
Tuhin further clarified that the targeted vehicles had been handed over to the APC (Armed Protection Command) for security, but the assailants seemed unaware of this arrangement when they launched their assault.
