NCP to hold protest rally in Shahbagh this afternoon

The National Citizen Party (NCP) has announced a protest rally this afternoon in Shahbagh, calling for the trial of the Awami League. The demonstration comes in response to the recent attack on NCP General Secretary Akhtar Hossain and other politicians in New York, as well as to protest the interim government's alleged negligence.

The rally is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 23, at 4pm in front of the National Museum, Shahbagh.

Khan Muhammad Mursalin, Joint Chief Coordinator of the party’s media cell, conveyed the details of the event in a statement.

Organized by the Dhaka Metropolitan North and South units of the NCP, the protest is part of a wider directive from the party to hold similar demonstrations across districts and sub-districts throughout the country.
