The National Citizen Party (NCP) will officially launch its youth wing, Jatiya Jubo Shakti, this Friday (16 May) with a public event in Gulistan, Dhaka.

The announcement was made during a press conference at the party's office in Banglamotor on Tuesday (13 May).

Speaking at the conference, NCP Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari stated, "Since the formation of the party, we’ve focused on uniting the youth of the nation. We’re actively communicating with people across all 64 districts, gathering insights, and preparing to shape a new Bangladesh. The opportunity before us now is a rare one, only occurring once every 100 to 200 years."

He added, "Over 40% of Bangladesh’s population is young. If we are to change the nation’s future, uniting this group is crucial. To harness their full potential, we must bring them together."

Nasiruddin also emphasized, "Just as student movements have played a key role in ending autocracy in the past, Jatiya Jubo Shakti will become a significant turning point for Bangladesh."

NCP’s Joint Chief Coordinator (Youth), Advocate Md Tariqul Islam, and other central leaders also attended the press conference.
