New cabinet begins office today

Cabinet Ministers and State Ministers of the 12th National Parliament are holding their first office on Sunday (January 14). 

On the occasion of the arrival of the new ministers at the secretariat, members of the law and order forces have been active inside the secretariat since dawn. Senior officials welcomed the Ministers and Ministers of State with flowers in front of the Ministries.

Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Md Tajul Islam, Housing and Public Works Minister Ram Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury, arrived just after 9.00 am.

Agriculture Minister Md Abdus Shaheed, and Lands Minister Narayan Chandra Chanda entered the Secretariat around 10.30 am.

The new ministers-state ministers exchanged views with the officials of the ministry. They talked to journalists as well.
