New DCs in four districts

The government has appointed new district administrators (DCs) in four districts. The districts are Tangail, Nilphamari, Patuakhali and Pirojpur. The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a related gazette on Tuesday.

According to the gazette, the current DC of Pirojpur Abu Sayeed has been transferred as the DC of Tangail.

Deputy Secretary of the Finance Division Md. Humayun Kabir has been appointed as the DC of Nilphamari and Chowdhury Ashraful Karim as the DC of Patuakhali. Besides, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration Md. Golam Rabbani has been made the DC of Pirojpur.

On the other hand, DC of Nilphamari Mohammad Nayiruzzaman has been transferred as joint secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare, DC of Tangail Sharifa Haque as joint secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs and DC of Patuakhali Mohammad Shahid Hossain Chowdhury as joint secretary of the Ministry of Environment.
