The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) has introduced a new decision regarding the allocation of appointment slots for Indian visa applications. The new system will take effect from Wednesday, July 1.

Under the new decision, applicants will no longer be able to select their preferred appointment time slots. Instead, the system will automatically allocate an available time slot to the applicant at the time of application submission.

IVAC announced that from July 1, all Indian visa application centres in Bangladesh will implement a time-slot-based submission system for all visa categories. Based on each centre's daily capacity, the system will sequentially assign time slots to applicants, eliminating the need for applicants to choose slots separately.

Authorities have advised applicants to arrive at the designated IVAC centre on time to ensure a smooth and timely visa application submission process.
