New SPs appointed in six districts

Police Superintendents (SPs) of six districts have been transferred. The order was issued on Sunday, November 16, by the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Abu Saeed.

The notifications stated that DIG of Industrial Police Md Israel Howlader has been appointed as Commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police. PBI Police Superintendent Mohammad Sarwar Alam has been made Superintendent of Police in Gaibandha, Dinajpur SP Md Marufat Hussain becomes SP of Faridpur, DMP Additional Police Commissioner Md Mizanur Rahman has been posted to Dinajpur, and Habiganj SP ANM Sajedur Rahman has been transferred to Pabna.

DMP Additional Police Commissioners Gautam Kumar Biswas and Md Billal Hossain have been appointed as Superintendents of Police in Habiganj and Nilphamari respectively.

The Home Ministry further announced that DIG of Police Headquarters Kazi Md Fazlul Karim has been made Rector of the Police Staff College, DIG of Police Telecom Md Rafiqul Hasan Gani becomes DIG of Highway Police, and DIG of Armed Police Battalion Md Nazrul Islam has been transferred as DIG of APBN Headquarters.

Additionally, Gaibandha SP Nishat Angela has been transferred as AIG at Police Headquarters, Faridpur SP Md Abdul Jalil becomes PBI Police Superintendent, Pabna SP Md Mortaza Ali Khan has been made Special Police Superintendent of CID, and Nilphamari SP Abul Fazal Mohammad Tariq Hasan Khan has been appointed as PBI Police Superintendent.
