New US visa application process to take effect from Feb 8

The US Embassy in Dhaka is set to introduce a new visa application process starting from February 8. Due to this update, visa application services will remain suspended from Wednesday (February 5) to Friday (February 7).

The US Embassy announced this update through its official Facebook page on Monday (February 4).

In an announcement via its official Facebook page, the embassy said, "The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka is implementing a new system for U.S. visa services starting February 8, 2025. Services on www.ustraveldocs.com will be unavailable from February 5 to February 7, 2025."

Despite the temporary suspension, applicants with scheduled appointments between February 5 and February 7 should attend their appointments as originally planned.

Additionally, starting today (Tuesday), non-immigrant visa applications will be available to all applicants at 3.00 pm every Tuesday.
