No one expected vote to be this festive: Mirza Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has remarked that no one had expected this year’s election to be so festive. He made the comment while speaking to journalists around 4:00 pm on Thursday after visiting the Thakurgaon Government Boys’ High School polling center.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “The level of public interest and enthusiasm is remarkable. I have visited nearly a hundred polling centers throughout the day. So far, the election has been conducted very well. I believe the results will be good and the outcome will also be positive. As a result, the people will get an elected government and a parliament—something we have struggled for over the past 16 years.”
He also expressed strong optimism about winning the election.
