No panic in public mind over Sheikh Hasina's verdict: Home Adviser
Stating that the law enforcement agencies are ready to control any situation, Home Affairs Adviser Lt. J. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam said that there has been no panic in the public mind over Sheikh Hasina's verdict.
He said that no major incident has occurred yet, only a few minor incidents have occurred. However, he warned miscreants that there is a provision for shooting in self-defense.
He said this after the verdict was delivered in the case of crimes against humanity against Sheikh Hasina and two others on Monday (November 17).
The Home Affairs Adviser said that if necessary, a letter will be India seeking extradition of Sheikh Hasina.
He alleged that neighbouring country is inciting to disrupt the country's security, law and order situation based on this verdict.
