November 7 to be observed as National Revolution and Solidarity Day

The government has decided to observe November 7 every year as National Revolution and Solidarity Day with official recognition and due state importance.

The Cabinet Division issued a circular in this regard on Tuesday (April 21), signed by Deputy Secretary (General Branch) Tania Afroz.

According to the circular, the day has been included in the Category-A list of national observances, ensuring its celebration at the highest state level.

The decision was taken in line with an earlier Cabinet Division directive issued on March 11, 2026, which incorporated the day into the official list of Category-A national observances.

The circular further instructed all ministries, divisions, and relevant agencies to take necessary steps to ensure proper implementation of the decision.
