October 7, February 25 to be observed as National Days

The interim government has announced October 7 as Shaheed Abrar Fahad Day and February 25 as BDR Massacre Day, recognizing them as politically significant national observances.

According to a post from the Chief Adviser’s official Facebook page on Monday (October 6), the Ministry of Cultural Affairs is preparing a national calendar to honour influential figures and key historical events.

Both dates will be commemorated annually under government initiative.

On the occasion of Abrar Fahad’s sixth death anniversary, a documentary titled “You Failed to Kill Abrar Fahad” will be screened at 7pm on Tuesday (October 7) in all Shilpakala Academies across the country, including Dhaka, where Abrar’s father is expected to attend.
