On the occassion of the holy month of Ramadan, office time of different private and public enterprises has been rescheduled. From today (Tuesday), all the offices will run as per the new schedule throughout the month of Ramadan. According to the new schedule, the office will be open from 9:00am to 3:30pm. In between, there will be a 15-minute Zohar prayer break from 1:30pm to 1:30pm. On February 28, the cabinet fixed the office schedule for the month of Ramadan for all government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous institutions. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on March 3.

আজ মঙ্গলবার থেকে শুরু হয়েছে রমজান মাস। এ জন্য রোজা উপলক্ষ্যে মাসজুড়ে সব অফিস চলবে নতুন সময়সূচিতে। নতুন সময়সূচি অনুযায়ী সকাল ৯টা থেকে বিকেল সাড়ে ৩টা পর্যন্ত অফিস চলবে। এর মধ্যে দুপুর সোয়া ১টা থেকে দেড়টা পর্যন্ত ১৫ মিনিট জোহরের নামাজের বিরতি থাকবে। গত ২৮ ফেব্রুয়ারি সব সরকারি, আধা সরকারি, স্বায়ত্তশাসিত এবং আধা স্বায়ত্তশাসিত প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য রমজান মাসের অফিসের এ সময়সূচি নির্ধারণ করে দেয় মন্ত্রিসভা। তারপর এ বিষয়ে গত ৩ মার্চ প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করে জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়। প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়, হিজরি ১৪৪৫ (২০২৪ খ্রিষ্টাব্দ) সনের পবিত্র রমজান মাসে সেহরি ও ইফতারের সময় বিবেচনায় দেশের সব প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য এ অফিস সময়সূচি নির্ধারণ করা হলো।
