One dies after falling ill while attending Khaleda Zia's funeral

A person has died after falling ill while attending the funeral of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia on Manik Mia Avenue.

According to police information, the deceased has been identified as Md. Nirab Hossain,56.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Tejgaon Additional Deputy Commissioner Fazlul Karim said that Nirab Hossain fell ill while attending the funeral. There was a huge crowd during the funeral, which further complicated the situation.

He also said that his appearance matched the photo of the national identity card obtained from the deceased. According to the national identity card, his name is Md. Nirab Hossain. His father's name is Matiur Rahman Miah. The address mentioned in the identity card is 174 Bara Moghbazar, Doctor Goli, Shantinagar in Ramna. However, his village home is in Baufal Upazila of Patuakhali.
