One interrogated over throwing water bottle at Info Adviser

One person is being interrogated at the office of the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police in connection with throwing a water bottle at Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuz Alam in Kakrail, the capital. The DB stated that after the interrogation, the individual will be handed over to their guardian.

Deputy Commissioner of the DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, shared this information on Friday afternoon.

On the night of May 14, Adviser Mahfuz Alam went in front of the Kakrail Mosque to speak with protesting students of Jagannath University. During the conversation, a plastic water bottle was thrown at him.
