One political party wants to turn country into Pakistan: Shameem Haider
Jatiya Party Secretary General Barrister Shameem Haider Patwari has alleged that a certain political party wants to turn the country into Pakistan. He accused them of disrespecting women and attempting to alter the history of the proclamation of Bangladesh's independence.
He claimed that only the Jatiya Party can save the country and is also capable of providing security to the people of Sundarganj.
He made these remarks as the chief guest at an election rally organised by the Jatiya Party at the Dhubni Kanchibari High School ground in Sundarganj upazila on Tuesday night.
Shameem Haider Patwari said the current government has completely failed in governing the country and cannot deliver justice due to fear of mobs. He asserted that those who have tarnished the spirit of the 1971 Liberation War will be tried on this country's soil.
He added that all political parties have waged movements for the country, and each has made mistakes. Therefore, banning any political party can never be a political solution.
The Jatiya Party Secretary General stated that the country now lacks good governance and is standing at a point of exhaustion. He claimed that to establish the rule of law, people must vote for the Jatiya Party, alleging that this government has turned the country into a 'hell' in just a year and a half.
Urging party leaders and activists to remain united, he called on everyone to stand up against mob politics. He asked the people of Sundarganj to vote for the Plough symbol to send the Jatiya Party to parliament, promising that only then could the people of Sundarganj live in peace.
He also promised to work towards making Dhubni Kanchibari a separate upazila if elected, calling it an unfinished task he wishes to complete.
Among others, former MP Mohammad Waheduzzaman Sarker Badsha and upazila Jatiya Party General Secretary Mohammad Abdul Mannan Mondal also spoke at the event.
