The online admission process for class XI students has been temporarily suspended today, Tuesday, August 5, in observance of the July Mass Uprising Day. The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced this decision in an official statement.

This move comes following directives from the government’s Cabinet Division. The admission process will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, August 6.

According to the announcement, students will not be able to submit any online applications for admission to Class XI for the 2025-26 academic session today. However, the process will restart as usual from August 6, allowing students to submit applications under the existing guidelines.

Earlier, on July 25, the Ministry of Education released the admission policy for the 2025-26 academic year. The application period began on July 30 and will continue until August 11. This year, 93% of the seats are open for all applicants. The remaining 7% are reserved, with 5% allocated for freedom fighters' quota and 2% for children of officials and employees of the Ministry of Education and its affiliated departments. Any unfilled reserved seats will be allotted based on merit.
