Online admission process for Class XI begins
The online admission process for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) colleges has officially begun. Students can apply exclusively through the official website [www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd](https://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd), as manual applications will not be accepted.
No admission test will be held; admission will be based solely on SSC or equivalent examination results.
The application deadline for the first phase is August 11, and results will be published at 8:00pm on August 20. Classes for the 2025–2026 academic year are scheduled to begin on September 15.
The application fee is Tk 220. Each candidate can choose a minimum of five and a maximum of ten colleges. Students who passed the SSC examination under the science group may apply to science, humanities, or business studies streams. However, students from humanities or business studies may only choose between those two streams.
This year, the government has fixed admission fees for colleges under the Monthly Payment Order (MPO) scheme. The maximum fee is set at Tk 5,000 for colleges in Dhaka Metropolitan City, Tk 3,000 in other cities, Tk 2,000 at district-level colleges, and Tk 1,500 in upazilas and rural areas. For non-MPO colleges, the fee structure differs by region and medium of instruction.
In Dhaka city, the fee is up to Tk 7,500 for the Bangla version and up to Tk 8,500 for the English version. In other cities, it is Tk 5,000 and Tk 6,000 respectively.
At the district level, the fee is Tk 3,000 for Bangla and Tk 4,000 for English, while in upazila-level colleges, the fee is Tk 2,500 for Bangla and Tk 3,000 for English.
Authorities have urged students and guardians to rely only on official sources and avoid third-party agents or unauthorized platforms during the admission process.
