Law enforcement agencies arrested 8,597 people across the country in the last 24 hours as part of Operation Devil Hunt phase 2. Police headquarters said in a press release that 85 firearms were also recovered during the operation. As part of routine policing activities, 258,168 motorcycles and 264,411 vehicles were searched nationwide. During the searches, 3,394 illegal motorcycles were seized.

অপারেশন ডেভিল হান্টের দ্বিতীয় ধাপের অংশ হিসেবে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় দেশজুড়ে ৮,৫৯৭ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনী। পুলিশ সদর দপ্তর থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, অভিযানের সময় ৮৫টি আগ্নেয়াস্ত্রও উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে সারা দেশে ২ লাখ ৫৮ হাজার ১৬৮টি মোটরসাইকেল এবং ২ লাখ ৬৪ হাজার ৪১১টি যানবাহন তল্লাশি করা হয়। তল্লাশির সময় ৩,৩৯৪টি অবৈধ মোটরসাইকেল জব্দ করা হয়েছে।
