Operation underway to arrest attackers of bauls: Press Secretary

Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said that law enforcement agencies are working diligently to arrest those responsible for the attack on bauls.

He shared this information at a press conference after the Advisory Council meeting on Thursday.

Shafiqul Alam said: "The police have been instructed to arrest those who attacked bauls. Manikganj police are working according to this instruction. In addition, raids are being conducted in the places where the attacks took place."

Yesterday, several bauls were attacked in Manikganj, Thakurgaon and Khulna during a programme demanding the release of Baul Abul Sarkar, who was arrested on charges of hurting religious sentiments.
