Pagla Mosque launches official website to facilitate global donations

The historic Pagla Mosque and Islamic Complex in Kishoreganj has officially launched its website and an online donation system to enable transparent contributions from devotees around the world.

The launch event took place on Friday at 11:15 a.m. at the mosque premises, with Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Khan inaugurating the new platform.

“From now on, anyone from home or abroad can donate to the Pagla Mosque by visiting the official website www.paglamosque.org,” said Fouzia Khan. “This initiative aims to prevent fraud or deception related to mosque donations.”

The Pagla Mosque is widely recognized for receiving large donations, often exceeding crores of taka, which highlights its religious significance and national popularity.

The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mizabe Rahmat, Additional Superintendent of Police Mukit Sarkar, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Ershad Mia, district Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Prof Ramzan Ali, and leaders from various political parties.
