Pakistan’s Deputy PM meets CA Yunus
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar paid a courtesy visit to Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of Bangladesh’s Interim Government, on Sunday at the state guesthouse Jamuna.
The meeting was confirmed by a statement from the Chief Adviser’s press wing.
Earlier in the day, Ishaq Dar also visited Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, at his residence in the Bashundhara residential area of Dhaka to inquire about his health.
A bilateral meeting between Foreign Advisor Md. Tauhid Hossain and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister took place this morning at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka. The meeting began around 9:45 AM.
During the session, four memorandums of understanding (MoUs), one program, and one agreement were signed between the two countries, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations.
Ishaq Dar arrived in Dhaka yesterday for a three-day visit. Upon arrival, he held discussions with leaders from several political parties, including BNP, Jamaat, and NCP.
