A passenger bus was set on fire near Pragati Sarani in North Badda of the capital. The incident took place on Sunday (today) at 8:15 pm. Badda Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Golam Kibria Khan confirmed the matter. He said that after receiving the information, a team of the fire service quickly reached the spot and brought the fire under control. No casualties were reported in the incident. However, it is not yet confirmed who initially set the bus on fire. The police have started an investigation to find out the cause of the fire.

রাজধানীর উত্তর বাড্ডায় প্রগতি সরণির কাছে একটি যাত্রীবাহী বাসে আগুন দেওয়ার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। রোববার&nbsp; রাত সোয়া আটটার দিকে অছিম পরিবহনের একটি বাসে এ অগ্নিসংযোগের ঘটনা ঘটে। বাড্ডা থানার উপপরিদর্শক (এসআই) মো. গোলাম কিবরিয়া খান বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন। তিনি জানান, খবর পেয়ে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের একটি দল দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনে। এ ঘটনায় কোনো হতাহতের খবর পাওয়া যায়নি। তবে প্রাথমিকভাবে কে বা কারা বাসটিতে আগুন দিয়েছে, সে বিষয়ে এখনো নিশ্চিত হওয়া যায়নি। আগুন লাগার কারণ উদ্ঘাটনে পুলিশ তদন্ত শুরু করেছে।
