People rejoice entering parliament

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government, thousands of students and citizens from all walks of life have entered the National Parliament building at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar 8in the capital on Monday (August 5) afternoon.

At this time, some people cheered and rejoiced sitting on the chairs of the members of parliament and some tasted the feeling of sitting on the speaker's seat.

Such images can be seen in a video that went viral on social media Facebook after the incident.

Earlier, they entered Ganabhaban chanting “bhua, bhua” slogan. They left the parliament building taking with them almost all the furniture of Ganabhaban like carpet, kantha, pillow, chair, TV or whatever they got.

Mentionable, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina submitted her resignation letter to the President on Monday afternoon and left the country due to the ongoing violent situation in the country, centered on the one-point demand for the fall of the regime.

She left Dhaka for India in a military helicopter from Bangabhaban at 2.30pm on Monday. Her younger sister Sheikh Rehana was with her at that time.
