The government has declared a one-day national mourning on Tuesday, July 22, following the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft at the Milestone School and College campus in the Diabari area of Dhaka, resulting in casualties.

In observance of the mourning, the national flag will be flown at half-mast across all government, semi-government, autonomous institutions, and educational establishments nationwide. Additionally, the flag will be lowered to half-mast on all government and private buildings, as well as at Bangladeshi missions abroad.

Special prayers will be held at religious places throughout the country for the injured and the deceased.

In light of this tragic incident, all events of the July 'Renaissance' Programme 2025 have been postponed for the next three days.
