PM chairs meeting to address Dhaka's traffic congestion
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman chaired a meeting on Thursday evening, May 14, to discuss traffic congestion and modernisation of traffic management in Dhaka city.
The meeting was held at the Public Administration conference room of the Cabinet Division at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
PM's Deputy Press Secretary Md Sujauddaula Sujan Mahmud confirmed the information.
The meeting was attended by Road Transport and Bridges, Railways and Shipping Minister Sheikh Rabiul Alam, State Minister for Railways Habibur Rashid, Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator Abdus Salam, Dhaka North City Corporation Administrator Shafiqul Islam Khan Milton, and MP Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas.
This was the second meeting chaired by the prime minister on Dhaka's traffic congestion and traffic management.
