The passenger bus of Sauhardya Paribahan lost control at Daulatdia ferry ghat in Goalanda upazila at around 5:15 pm and fell into the Padma River. Even after five and a half hours of the accident, the bus has not been visible yet.

Ropes have been attached to one side of the bus, while efforts are underway to attach ropes to the other side. Rescue operations are being hampered due to adverse weather conditions.
